FAQs

We suggest a 1x weekly wash with a low-no residue shampoo. Our Scalp Spray will assist you in between washes as a cleanser while hydrating your scalp & locs! A quick palm roll from root-tip while they are slightly damp and/or dry keeps your locs length!

We encourage regular washing & water play! Feel free to hit your locs with a blow dryer to assist with keeping the dampness away after water activities. On your non-washing days - we suggest a shower cap to keep your crochet locs & wiks as dry as possible!

We suggest the following YEARLY maintenance schedule:
Brand New Locs: 6-8 Weeks After Installation / Root & Full Body
1-2 Years Old: Every 3-4 months / Root & Full Body
3+ Years Old: 1-2x a year or as desired / Root Only

We will chat with you before we begin about your full desires of the visit. If we suggest any repair work or repair work is requested, we can requote you before we begin! If the time allows - we would love to get your locs in their best shape to travel on this journey with you!
